Meet The Team

Our team at Makodah Care is made up of dedicated, compassionate professionals who are passionate about making a real difference. Led by lived experience of disability, we bring both understanding and expertise to every support we provide. Together, we create a collaborative, caring environment where participants feel empowered, respected, and supported to live life on their terms.

Riley

Chief Executive Officer

Riley has been a dedicated professional in the disability sector for over seven years, beginning his journey as a Support Worker and progressing through roles including NDIS contractor and Support Coordinator. He later returned to service delivery in an Operational Management capacity, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep passion for the industry.

As a person with Cerebral Palsy and a participant of the NDIS since its rollout in 2014, Riley brings lived experience to every aspect of his work. He is committed to assisting clients in achieving their goals, ensuring supports are meaningful, empowering, and tailored to each individual’s needs.

Riley holds a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) and has ambitions to continue his professional development within the sector.

Outside of work, Riley enjoys following his favourite sports teams, particularly the NRL Bulldogs, and spending quality time with his young family.

Kylie

Chief Financial Officer

Kylie brings a wealth of experience and a diverse professional background to Makodah Care. She began her career in the Legal sector, later working in Early Childhood Development, before joining forces with her husband, Riley, to establish Makodah Care. This journey has given her a unique perspective on both the operational and human sides of the disability sector, allowing her to balance business strategy with empathy and understanding.

Currently, Kylie is studying a Diploma of Counselling Services, with a particular interest in complex mental health comorbidities. Her academic pursuits complement her practical experience, allowing her to provide informed guidance and compassionate leadership across the organisation.

As a mother of two children with ASD Level 2, Kylie has firsthand insight into the challenges and triumphs families face. This lived experience drives her commitment to ensuring Makodah Care delivers support that is meaningful, practical, and tailored to the needs of each individual and family.

Outside of work, Kylie enjoys keeping fit, cooking, horse riding, spending time at the beach, and cherishing moments with her family. Her dedication, both personally and professionally, reflects the values that underpin everything Makodah Care stands for — compassion, integrity, and a genuine commitment to supporting people to live their best lives.
